Having a security system installed will work to protect your home in many ways. First, it will deter most criminals, keeping them from even attempting a break in. Also, it will give you a chance to react by alerting you to the fact that someone is attempting to get in to your home. This gives you the chance to wake up and deal with the situation in the best way possible. Finally, the system will also alert your neighbors and local law enforcement to the situation so you can get assistance quickly.
